Make It Real, Part B: Objectives, Tactics, and Timelines

Please take Part A first; you can take Parts A and B in one day (with a lunch or dinner break) or on separate days.

Available Dates

Now available! Contact us to set a time that works for your group.

Our trainer will share a community success story, help you unpack the learnings, and draw on your knowledge to create a plan for making change where you live.

This training is ideal for:

Groups of 6-25 people who are working together locally — both new and established groups.

Training Outcomes

You’ll come away with:

  • Greater understanding of Popular Education and Organizing rooted in the 4 R’s: Resistance, Resilience, Restoration and Reimagination
  • Tools you can use to develop objectives, tactics, and timelines that fit your needs.
  • A plan of action that is rooted in your shared values and your community context.

Cost

PeoplesHub is committed to making trainings accessible, regardless of ability to pay. We are also dedicated to fair compensation for our trainers, who, like you, have worked hard for change in their communities. We use a sliding scale of $200 – $750 per training to ensure our trainings are accessible to groups with a wide range of resources, and to allow folks to “pay it forward” so that other groups may experience high-quality training at a lower cost.

Payments beyond the true value of the training are considered tax deductible donations.

If cost is a significant barrier for your group, please contact us and we can talk about how to make your training happen.

What do you do to prepare?

Please choose one or two people to work with the trainer on setting a time, establishing an internet link, and managing the space where you’ll meet.

You’ll just need a place to gather; a laptop or desktop computer; and a passion for change! Maybe some chips and salsa.

Note: if you don’t have a computer, talk to us about other devices that may work.
